WHO
Sarah Recht kicked off her career in the film and television industry as Production Secretary in 2012. Since then, she has worked as Production Coordinator and Production Manager on various productions in both scripted (shorts, features) and unscripted (factual, entertainment, documentary, music). Besides setting up shoots in Germany and England, Sarah also set up shoots in the Netherlands, Jordan, Vietnam and the US (Nevada, Arizona) and thereby frequently worked with fixers.
In addition to her knowledge of the production management of film and television productions, Sarah also gained experience in festival management and localisation. She set up industry events and managed related logistics, coordinated the finances, and managed the box office incl. industry & press accreditations and guest lists for three editions of the Cologne Film Festival between 2014 and 2017 as Production Assistant and Production Manager. As Localisation Producer she oversaw the localisation process of social media assets to support the worldwide promotion of major studio film releases (dubbing, subtitling, graphics) – specifically in the DACH territory.
The fast-paced environment of the media industry suits Sarah's personality very well. She is hard worker and likes to keep busy. She can easily navigate here as she adapts to new situations very quickly and flexible. Sarah solves problems that arise swiftly but thoughtfully, relying on her distinctive analytical and creative thinking. Thereby she stays calm - even under pressure. Over the years, Sarah developed highly transferable skills that enable her to keep productions and projects within budget and on track.
